New Clients Are Welcome & Existing Clients Are Welcomed Back

At Redlands Animal Hospital, we’ve been committed to providing compassionate and reliable veterinary care to the pets of Redlands, California for decades.

As a practice with deep roots in the community, we’re proud to offer continuity of care, serving generations of families with dedication and heart. In honor of our community connection that started with Dr. Thomas Gould opening our doors in 1961, we’ve even planted orange trees on our property as a nod to Redlands’ history in the orange industry. Our team treats cats and dogs with consistent, quality care that helps your companions live their healthiest lives.

Compassion and safety are at the core of everything we do, ensuring that every pet and pet parent feels welcomed and valued from the moment they walk through our doors.

Choose Our Veterinary Services

Services at our veterinary clinic focus on preventive measures, early diagnosis, and effective treatment options. Here are some of the key services our Redlands veterinarians provide:

Our Veterinary Clinic is AAHA-Accredited

Redlands Animal Hospital is proud to be accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), a distinction held by only about 15% of veterinary practices in the United States and Canada as of 2019. AAHA accreditation is awarded to veterinarian practices that meet rigorous standards in areas such as patient care, cleanliness, technology, and customer service. All accredited facilities are re-reviewed by AAHA experts every three years. For pet parents, AAHA accreditation is a mark of trust and quality. Having this distinction means that when you bring your pet to Redlands Animal Hospital, you can feel confident knowing they are receiving the highest level of care in a compassionate and well-equipped environment.

A State-of-the-Art Facility for Advanced Veterinary Care

In 2023, Redlands Animal Hospital expanded into a larger, newly renovated building designed to support our commitment to comprehensive pet care. This modern space allows us to provide a comfortable environment for pets while also incorporating advanced technology for improved diagnostics and treatment options. Our facility is equipped with the latest veterinary tools, including surgical suites and an Intensive Care Unit that provides critical care for pets with respiratory issues. We also have kept the comfort of your pet in mind with separate waiting areas in our Waiting Room and a quiet Cat Treatment Room to minimize the stress of interacting with other animals. With our expanded space and state-of-the-art resources, we’re able to offer a higher level of service, giving your pets access to some of the best veterinary care available.

Dental Care and Your Pet: Why It Matters

Dental health plays a crucial role in your pet’s overall health and quality of life. Studies show that most pets will experience some form of dental disease by age three, which can lead to discomfort, infection, and even systemic health issues if left untreated. That’s why our veterinarians recommend annual teeth cleanings to prevent dental disease, along with consistent at-home dental care to support your pet’s oral health. We invite you to learn more about our comprehensive dental services, including our Young Dog and Cat Dental Disease Prevention $350 Program with discounted cleanings, and how they can benefit your pet’s long-term health on our Dentistry page.

We Speak Spanish!

We believe that veterinary care should be accessible to everyone in our community, and we’re pleased to have staff members who speak Spanish. Since our Spanish-speaking team members are not always available, we encourage pet parents who need assistance with Spanish translations to let us know when scheduling an appointment so that we can make appropriate accommodations. It’s our goal to make sure that everyone feels comfortable and confident in the care their pets receive.

Same-Day Appointments for Our Existing Pet Patients

For our existing clients, we understand that sometimes your pet’s needs arise unexpectedly. Redlands Animal Hospital strives to offer same-day appointments whenever possible. If you are a current client and need to get in quickly, simply give us a call, and we’ll do our best to fit you into the schedule. While same-day appointments are subject to availability, we’re committed to supporting our clients with timely care.

Brought our two maltipoos to Redlands Animal Hospital to be established as new patients. Jonathan and Dr. Ngo saw us and I was really happy I brought them here. The place is clean, which makes me feel happy to know they treat our pets with quality care. That was my first impression—clean flooring, for one, and very nice waiting areas. The staff were warm and welcoming. Jonathan treated our two ultra rambunctious pets so kindly. He was very warm, very informative, gave tips on taking care of my dog’s chronic ear problems, and he was VERY patient with our very loud pets. They made us feel welcomed still. Dr. Ngo was very gentle, friendly and concise. I was prepared for getting bombarded with procedures to do and meds to buy like in many places, but Dr. Ngo was realistic. She gave her recommendations and didn’t push treatment or meds. She didn’t make me feel bad either or feel pressured like in most vet places. I loved it there and can’t believe we didn’t take them here from the start! A lot of places are gross and dirty especially the flooring. I highly recommend them here!

My dog had a very bad seizure in the middle of the night, and I had to take him to this vet. The care we received was excellent- they took such good care of my beloved Ridgeback Tommy. The staff here are really terrific- I wish I could remember all of their names but I do remember Hailey, who was just a sweetheart. She treated my dog with such love. They are expensive because they are a doggie ER, and they do try to upsell a bit… but if you do your research and make sure you understand the big picture, you will only pay for what you need.

After our old vet botch my dog's ear infection and hematoma treatment, the staff at Redlands got us an emergency appointment and did emergency surgery on her ear. I truly believe they saved her ear and quite possibly her life as well. I will definitely be taking all of my pets here from now on. Dr. Blanchard is a life saver.

This is the best pet hospital I’ve ever been too. They truly care and are so much more affordable than any other options I’ve ever been too. My dog has epilepsy and they always have done their best for him and given him amazing treatment so far, I drive well over an hour to come to this vet office because of how superior they are.
